Mahendra Raj Kandel is the Executive Director of Kandel Group, a current partner and co-founder of the group. His politics and business endeavours derive from his personal entrepreneurial aspirations and diplomatic mindset.  

Mr. Kandel’s aptitude to foster in-house projects and portfolio companies from the ground up, across the expanding business landscape, has proven a crucial asset for Kandel Group.  

Mr. Kandel’s operational expertise derives from two decades at the helm of various private and non-profit organisations. He is closely involved in the portfolio company selection process and a decisive voice in the development and execution of portfolio company strategy.  

Mr. Kandel was elected President of Non-Resident Nepalese Association UK (NRNA UK) by a strong majority of the Nepalese electorate.  

His extensive network and humanistic approach to operations spurred the growth of Yak and Yeti Restaurant Group, North West College (UK), Masala Mart (UK), upon his time as MD to the aforementioned companies.  

At Present, Mr. Kandel shares his responsibility as ED of TBC Nepal, as Director of South London Academy, E-WorksUK, Neem Tree Pharmacy and Woolwich Late Night Pharmacies, Yak & Yeti Restaurant Group UK and Global Nepali Patra Publication (UK & Australia).
