Kathmandu, 3rd March – In a grand ceremony organized by Corporate Media Group, esteemed personalities across various industries were recognized for their unparalleled contributions and achievements. The prestigious 'Corporate Business Award, 2080' was held at Hyatt Place Kathmandu, marking the 16th anniversary of this esteemed event.

 

Graced by the presence of Mr Dil Bahadur Singh, Chairman of the Electricity Regulatory Commission, as the chief guest, the event celebrated the achievements of 20 distinguished personalities from diverse sectors such as industry, trade, education, health, tourism, banking, insurance, and entrepreneurship. The awards ceremony witnessed the convergence of leading figures who have significantly impacted the Nepalese economy and society.

 

The accolades were bestowed upon the awardees by a host of dignitaries including Mr. Singh, Bhawani Rana, the Awards Selection Committee Coordinator and former President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Ujwal Jung Shah, President of Corporate Media; Sushma Mahra, Vice President; and Sangeeta Khatri, Business Director of Corporate Media. Esteemed awardees of the night included Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI); Prabal Jung Pandey, Director of Lomus Pharmaceuticals; Ravi Singh, President of the Federation of Construction Industry Nepal); and Karan Chaudhary, President of NADA Automobile Association of Nepal, all of whom received the 'Corporate Business Leadership Award'.

 

Highlighting the evening was the special recognition of The British College’s Executive Director, Mahendra Raj Kandel, who was honoured with the 'Best Education Sector Award'.
